Greater performance
Unaffected by either changes in temperature or mains Voltage, with constant pressure within the working area
The performance of traditional asynchronous pumps is strongly affected by factors
such as temperature and mains voltage. When these two parameters change, the nominal
curve undergoes either upwards or downwards translation, unless corrected by
sophisticated electronics. The Askoll electropump, however, being affected only
by the mains frequency, which is known to be constant, has a characteristic curve
that undergoes no translation with variations in either temperature or mains voltage.
The Askoll pump therefore allows a precise work point to be fixed,
in the certainty that this will not vary unless a different load loss curve
is considered. Moreover the ‘flat’ curve of Askoll's pump allows that should
there be a reduction of the flow rate, the pressure remains constant and so
avoiding the annoying problems of hydraulic noise.
